Description
Visit what many describe as the world’s greatest open-air museum during this 2-day, fully guided tour of Luxor. You will be transported to and from your hotel in Hurghada by an air-conditioned coach bus.Luxor is a city in Upper Egypt and is the capital of Luxor Governorate.
As the site of the Ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, the modern city of Luxor houses the ruins of the temples and complexes of Karnak. Immediately opposite of the River Nile lie the monuments, temples, and tombs of the West Bank Necropolis.
On this tour you will visit these sites, as well as the Valley of Kinds and Valley of Queens. You will be one of thousands of tourists who visit these monuments, contributing a large part towards the local economy.On the first day of your tour, you will be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada at 4:30am. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will visit the Karnak Temples.
These temples are one of the finest examples of worship and are dedicated to the god Amoun-Ra. Amoun-Ra. After this visit, you will be transferred to your Luxor hotel for an overnight stay.Day two begins with a tour of the City of the Dead.
You will also visit the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the temple of Amenophis III and the Valley of the Kings. You will witness the magnificence of the architecture of the Temple of Queen Hatsheput, the only Pharonic woman who reigned over ancient Egypt.
The day will conclude with a ride on a Felucca down the River Nile to witness the amazing sunset around Banana Island. Afterwards, you will be transported back to your hotel in Hurghada.A fully-guided, 2-day tour is the undoubtedly the best way to get the full Luxor experience.
