VIP LUXOR

Description

Luxor –  If travelling in a group it may be more cost effective to do a private tour. Please ask for more details. This trip runs everyday, subject to availability.

You are collected from your hotel at about 4.30am (depending on location) where you being your journey to the beautiful city of Luxor. The journey takes approximately 3.5hours.
Your first stop will be  the Temple of Queen Hatchepsut. Your guide will tell you the history here and you get free time to take photographs. You then visit the Valley of the Kings. There are lots of Tombs there.

You will have entry into three Ramses Tombs which are absolutely amazing. At the Valley of the King’s there is Tutankhamen’s Tomb which you can visit at an extra charge, however they only allow entry to 100 people per day. I have asked people about this and they have said that the Ramses Tombs were much better. So this is entirely up to yourself if you choose to visit. After the Valley of the Kings you visit an Alabaster Factory where you are shown how the different sculptures and vases are made. You have time to do some shopping here.

You then go to a restaurant to have your lunch. After lunch you then go to the largest temple in the world which is the Karnak Temple. You are guided around here with some free time at the end.
At the end of the day you have some free time. You have the choice to visit the Luxor Temple which is an extra 150LE or you can visit Banana Island which is an extra 200LE. You go here by boat. Most people choose to do Banana Island as you are at the end of a very long and tiring day. It is a good choice as you get to see the sunset on the Nile at the end!

After this trip you are then returned back to your hotel in Hurghada at approximately 9.30pm.
All extras are optional and not compulsory.
